Burn Notice

Burn Notice was a show on the USA Network for five years. It was one of my favorite shows when it was on.

The show follows the main character, Micheal Westen after he loses his position as a C.I.A (Central Intelligence Agency) agent. He loses his aliases and his true name is put out there for all his enemies to learn. This is call being burned or a burn notice. He is dumped unconscious in Miami and told not to leave the city.

He awakens to find his ex-girlfriend Fiona Glennane, a former IRA operative. From this point on he is on a mission to find out who burned him and she reluctantly assists him.

He reconnects with his estranged mother. And allies with Sam Axe played by Bruce Campbell, who informs on him to the F.B.I (Federal Bureau of Investigations). And later on with Jesse Porter another burnt agent.

One of the things that made this show unique was it would explain how to make or do different tasks. It was as if it was a D.I.Y. (do it yourself) spy training show. I would watch thinking if there were thieves out there taking notes from this show on how to properly make and use explosives or commit crimes.
The show is/was just fun with interesting and lovable characters. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a fun spy show.

I would love if they made a Burn Notice Television movie or three, soon. No idea if this is even talked about but it should be.

Batman Suit concepts

Some Batman suit concepts I came across.

Mushishi

MushiShi is a really really great show. It is not like most shows, animes, or storytelling. There isn't an antagonist, there isn't a protagonist most of the time. Sometimes I wonder if there really is a plot. Most episodes start out with a person accidently coming into contact with a Mushi. Then something bad or good happens. Then Ginko the only constant character will assess the situation to fix it the best he can.

Mushishi is told like old FairyTale or Ghost stories. I don't think they are about scaring the audience. Most stories seem to be about understanding and living in balance with nature. Some people find themselves living in balance with the Mushi that affect their life. Sometimes for good, sometimes for ill.

Ginko is the man character in Mushishi. He is a Mushishi. He is an expert on the different kinds of Mushi.
I don't know if we as the audience are following him on his adventures or we are following the Mushi and he comes into the story or both.

These are images of different kinds of Mushi. The best way to describe a Mushi is it is an animal on a slightly different dimensional plane. So most people can't see them. Mushishi can see them. However even tho people can't see them Mushi can and do effect people and nature. Mushi like animals don't do things to people to be malicious. Mostly any harm they do to people is out of survival or because people did something wrong or by simple mistake.

MushiShi loves to show natural landscapes and images of Nature. Nature is very important to the story.

If you are looking for the classic good versus evil story that isn't Mushishi. If you are looking for something relaxing, interesting, original, with a folk storytelling feel, give Mushishi a try. I highly recommend it.

The theme song.

First episode. Really have to watch it to understand how different the show is.

7 Unsettling Truths About Religion

I have no problem with people who want to believe in God or Gods. My problem is when people try to pretend their religious dogma or institutions don't see a problem with things that are clearly unethical.

Panorama: A basic income for everybody!

This documentary talks about the pros and cons of doing a Universal Basic Income for everyone. To give a simple understanding. Give people a small subsidy for life.
The video focuses on doing it in Belgium, but shows other countries and societies that are proposing the idea.
