The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is the poster child of why regulation is needed and must be enforced. Not only for the safety of those that could be affected by radiation but for the fact that environments can become contaminated and unlivable for thousand of years. If there is any reason to regulate something it is this.

Danger Zone ageing nuclear power plants
Entergy executives in hearing say, "No we don't have underground nuclear pipes." They say this over and over again. Then come to find out they have said pipes and they are leaking. Then said executives say, "Oh they aren't underground pipes, those are buried pipes." LOL The lies these people tell are hilarious but also frightening.
