Burning the Future: Coal in America

A few years ago I learned about Coal Slurry deposits. I also learned about coal slurry dams breaking and flooding homes and areas. In America it would seem many don't know about this or don't care. I know coal is a necessary evil but that doesn't mean it can't be extracted responsibly but then again that would cut into the industries profits.
Best thought that came from this documentary and I'm paraphrasing. "It's easy to be ignorant and deaf to what's wrong when their pay check rely's apon it." I would say complacency come from ones comfort as well. It would appear more than just liberal hippies want sustainable power in America.
