AGORA
The movie Agora is about the philosopher of Alexandria, Hypatia. I believe she is considered the first female mathematician. She believed in math, philosophy and questioning. She taught in Alexandria, at or near the Library of Alexandria. For a woman in the fourth century that must have been almost impossible. Her story is inspiring but also tragic. The movie is beautiful. I recommend you watch if you like films based on true stories about thinkers, persons of integrity and people of principle.
