Showtime's Years of Living Dangerously is about the changes of Climate Change. It is about how people are living with those changes now and how they may live with them in the future.

The first episode has Harrison Ford learning about deforestation around the world and palm oil in Indonesia.

Don Cheadle learning about droughts in Texas and Mexico and a scientist who is also a devout Christian attempting to educate fellow Christians on Climate Change.
Journalist Thomas L. Friedman travels to Syria to learn how the civil war there started because of four years of heavy drought.

This documentary series is produced by James Cameron, Jerry Weintraub and Arnold Schwarzenegger among others.

I like the feel of this show. It attempts to bring the emotions of everyday life effects of Climate Change to the audience. It tries to show how Climate Change effects jobs, living, economics and politics. But what it also shows is that Climate Change is here now. It is no longer something that will happen decades from now. Now is here.

The Untold History of The United States

This is the first episode of Oliver Stone's Showtime program "The Untold History of the United States." It is an in-depth view on the politics domestic and foreign of the twentieth century. It also shows how the United States was changed by War World Two and how the United States changed the world after War World Two. Mostly it brushes aside the propaganda that American believes about itself during World War Two (especially when dealing with the Russians and Japanese).
For a long time I've been telling people that dropping "the Bomb" on Japan was useless but this series showed me not only how useless it was but also how it was a pathetic attempt to bully the Russians. If you like history, like truth, like to see the past without the propaganda then watch this series.

PENN & TELLER BULLSHIT

Penn & Teller Bullshit is a very good show. If you like shows that use COMMON SENSE, have a bit of WISDOM, uses up to date information and FACTS. This is the show for you. Many social and political issues are full of people, being and using emotion to make "points" but they aren't using actual facts. This show does that. With a lot of humor and an occasional bare breast or nudity (Men and women).

This show is on SHOWTIME check it out. If for anything find the episode on Lie Detectors. If you have any faith in them after that show you won't.



If I remember this correctly, this image came from an episode of an idiot who was trying to show how people (especially children)that play first person shooters will become crazed killers. I'll admit that if the kid has the tendencies to want to use guns and kill then they will be attracted to these games. However just because a few use these games to help their dark impulses isn't grounds to ban the games. By this reasoning we won't allow alcohol, or driving, or many other things that are dangerous but socially acceptable. If a few idiots can't handle the responsibility doesn't man the majority of the population should be punished.





Watch this show! You, your community, and your nation will be better off for it.
Side-note: HBO has more hype and is it's shows are more talked about but SHOWTIME has more consistently good shows.
