15 Dumb Advice Unsuccessful People Give You
Alux - 15 Dumb Advice Unsuccessful People Give You
The Advice I hate the most is, "Everything Happens for a Reason." When people say this they assume the reason was for a good reason, or that "God" did something in their life to teach them something. As if there aren't bad reasons for why something can happen. Or as if there isn't other people, circumstances, and history that can be the cause of what is happening. There are many reasons why something is happening some because of our own choices other because of outside forces and most, because of a combination of both.

African Civilizations
These videos follow Henry Louis Gates Jr. as he travels around the continent of Africa. He learns and gives information about Medieval African Civilizations and their connection to Europe, the Middle East, India, and China. There is a great deal of information here about different cultures, history, and art.
My only problem is the show does seem to focus more on how African cultures took things from these different places and reinterpreted them into their culture. This isn't a bad thing but I was thinking by the name of the title that it would focus more on the African Civilization themselves and would give more information about them before colonization by Europe and the encroachment of Islam.

The 13,000 Years Old 'Black Knight' ALIEN Satellite That STILL Orbits Earth
I find the concept of the Black Knight interesting. Don't believe it's an alien satellite only because that seems more speculative at this moment but if it is that is fascinating.

African civilizations
There are people that truly believe there are no ruins on the whole of the continent of Africa. These people actually believe that no African culture or civilization has ever been other than Egypt. I have actually met these people in person. Some have negative views of Africans, some are just ignorant. So while doing research for my fantasy story, Myth of the King. I have come across some information and pictures. So I thought I would share some here.

What he says about Disney movies having human characters on every continent but in Africa only animals, I never thought of. Ask yourself why?

This documentary talks about the pros and cons of doing a Universal Basic Income for everyone. To give a simple understanding. Give people a small subsidy for life.
The video focuses on doing it in Belgium, but shows other countries and societies that are proposing the idea.

Jane Elliott Exercise
This is the Blue Eye/Brown Eye test done in the United States of America but I'm not sure when. I think it was in the early 2000s.
For those of you that don't know what the Blue Eye/Brown Eye test is. Jane Elliot takes a group of people. She separates them by blue eyes and brown eyes. She tell the brown eyes to treat the blue eyes as the lesser. The point of this test is to teach the white members of the group how a living in a Racist/discriminating systems feels but also to show the brown eyes why people in such a group don't either know or want to give up the privilege of being in the more powerful group.
You can watch another video here.
This is the same experiment done in the UK. However it doesn't go as well. Most of the white participants refuse to take part in the experiment. However it does show their deep denial of racism. I believe this took place in 2009.
This is the same experiment done in Australia. It's not the full video but it gives you enough to understand the test.
