I really don't understand how Huckabee is supported by anyone to be President of the United States. The more I learn of this man the more sad, and void of character he is shown to be.

Black Wall Street

This video is about an area of Tulsa Oklahoma called Greenwood and it's main street also known as the Black Wall Street. Greenwood was the exact thing white people always say black people should do. "Do for yourself", "pull yourself up by your bootstraps". The problem is once they did the white men coming from WW1, jobless and in dire straits became jealous. The Ku Klux Klan would use this to rile them up and get them to riot, murder and destroy this prosperous community.
It happened in June 1921. The whites robbed, beat, and killed people. They robbed and burned down black people homes and businesses as well. They placed machine guns on trucks and on top of a hill, firing at people. I don't know how many people were killed but it could have been a couple thousand or so (later things I've seen says it was over three thousand). It was the Klan that were the ringleaders but many others would join in on the looting and killing. Many were jealous because so many of the black living in the area were wealthy or doing financially well.
The black community, known as Greenwood, aka black wall street aka little Africa would have the dollar circulated in it's community 8, 12, 30, to a hundred times before it left the community. The community believed in educating every child. They believed in "nepotism" as a way of life. Nepotism is defined as, the practice among those with power or influence of favoring relatives or friends, especially by giving them jobs.

10 Hours of Walking in NYC as a Woman

This attractive woman/actress walks through the city of New York for hours. She is harassed by many men of all backgrounds, and ethnicity.
Some are downright creepy about. Walking next to her silently. While others are being persistent. Part of me wants to say it's wrong but then again society tell men that they should be persistent. The guy ask her if he isn't attractive enough for her. In truth whether he realizes or not if a woman find a man attractive the persistence isn't creepy, if she doesn't then it is.
Many moments in this video don't seem to be harassment to me. Some words are said aggressively but some women respond to a bit of aggression. Some are said harshly and demanding. I can say that is going to far. Some of it is subjective. Watch the video, whether you are man or woman decide for yourself. What is acceptable and what isn't?

Showtime's Years of Living Dangerously is about the changes of Climate Change. It is about how people are living with those changes now and how they may live with them in the future.

The first episode has Harrison Ford learning about deforestation around the world and palm oil in Indonesia.

Don Cheadle learning about droughts in Texas and Mexico and a scientist who is also a devout Christian attempting to educate fellow Christians on Climate Change.
Journalist Thomas L. Friedman travels to Syria to learn how the civil war there started because of four years of heavy drought.

This documentary series is produced by James Cameron, Jerry Weintraub and Arnold Schwarzenegger among others.

I like the feel of this show. It attempts to bring the emotions of everyday life effects of Climate Change to the audience. It tries to show how Climate Change effects jobs, living, economics and politics. But what it also shows is that Climate Change is here now. It is no longer something that will happen decades from now. Now is here.

Breaking the Taboo

This is a documentary about ending the "War on Drugs" globally. Narrated by Morgan Freeman, which partly makes it worth watching alone. In this film Ex-Presidents of many countries speak on their efforts in fighting the Drug War and how none have succeeded.


Colombia - Drugs fund the Cartels and their kidnapping and guerrilla attacks.
Brazil - Drugs fund the favelas drug lords and their guns.
Mexico - Cartels fight for trafficking routes. Government fighting war against Cartels ends in many deaths of soldiers, polices, cartel members and civilians.
USA - Worlds largest consumer of illegal drugs. Five percent of the world's population. Nearly twenty-five percent of the world's incarcerated. A prison industrial complex. More prisoners than China (They have a BILLION people) think about that for a moment.
Afghanistan - After the war it has become the World's largest producer of Heroin.
Russia - Heroin is the biggest threat out of Afghanistan not Terrorism.
Portugal - Decriminalized ALL DRUGS. Drug user don't go to court when arrested but before a board of social workers and psychologist. They have been doing this for ten years.
Switzerland - AIDs was a problem from needles by Heroin users. They gave free needles and placed health above criminalization.
Holland - Where they sell marijuana in cafes. Also place health before criminalization.
Latin American countries regionally are starting to create their own solutions to the drug problem without the United States.


Nixon declared the "War on Drugs" in the united states. Yet his own commission created federal recommendations.
1. Possession for personal use no longer a criminal offense.
2. Non-profit distribution of small amounts no long a criminal offense.

Under Ford decriminalization almost happened. Ten states began to decriminalize.
Under Reagan it became a cluster f@#k. Put more people in prison and create the "just say no" campaign.
Under President Obama no change in the war on drugs, even though he has said it is a utter failure before he took office.


America learned during Alcohol Prohibition that prohibition didn't work. Yet for some reason believes that drug prohibition is working or will work eventually.


I agreed with much in this film but nothing more than this presented idea. Don't be drug free because it's illegal. Be drug free because it takes away the most important thing you have. The ability to decide, the ability to choose.

I'm not African American

I know some will read the title and think I'm "self-hating" or a "uncle tom". However think about the title for a moment "African-American". Wouldn't someone from Africa be African American? Yes, I have ancestors from Africa but I'm not from Africa.

Why did the people who choose these Politically Correct terms decide on African-American? Is it because of heritage? Well heritage is based on blood and culture. Most people that have been here in America. That are of descent of the early indentured servants and then American slaves are of mixed heritage. I myself have many ancestors, of Native American and Irish decent. As well as English and perhaps French. So if this title is given based on heritage, based on blood then I'm not African-American.

Perhaps it's based on my culture. I find this weird because even though much of African culture has found a way to exist in our food, dance and language. We here of that descent have created our own "style" intermingled with the influence we gained of seeing and being around other mostly European cultures. This culture is mimicked in Africa (all over the world) as well. It holds up on it's own. So it's not really based on culture. Not to mention because slaves were stripped of most of their African traditions many of their traditions came from America, and their ways became American.

Is the term based on my skin color. If it's based on my skin color then it stupid. Point blank, no doubt about it, stupid. Wouldn't that make it an element, a symptom or blatant racist(true racism cause it is based on keeping someone in position simply because of skin color).

The truth is, I'm not African-American. I'm Black American or just American. I don't know why people can't accept Black American to be the "Politically Correct" term. White people in America don't mind being called White Americans. I've heard on television some like to be called European American. The first time I heard this I thought, "Are they from Europe?" Yet, when you hear people call themselves African-American the first thought people have isn't "Are they from Africa?" It's as if there is this latent thought that no matter how long black people are in America they will always be from Africa. I really don't like this title.

I'm Black American or American. African Americans are from Africa. People always say America is a "Melting Pot" yet they try to put those who are "living melting pots" into these narrow minded, small boxes. If it's easier just say I'm American, after all for many in the world this means, "mixed heritage".
